Our Meals on Wheels service was set up in 1969 and is a voluntary service.  We prepare and deliver over 10,200 freshly cooked meals every year to people who are of limited means or ability to cook for themselves.  It is manned by over 20 local, dedicated volunteers who give their time and services free.

The food is freshly made daily in our fully HSE-compliant kitchen.  All ingredients are sourced from local suppliers.  We supply a different main course Monday to Saturday along with dessert. Each lunch costs €4.00  delivered straight to your door by our friendly drivers who are Garda vetted.

We believe that those we serve deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and our volunteers are the living examples of that belief.  Many elderly people tell us the best part about meal delivery is the friendly, caring volunteers.  Volunteers are the vital link in our services quality of what we do.

Due to Covid-19 we service Ballyphehane & surrounding areas twice a week.  This service ensures all our customers receive meals for the full week.
